Purchased in 1998 by Dan Kerrane Jr., Elk Run Ranch is a family-owned and operated cattle and hunting ranch located just north of Steamboat Springs, Colorado. Surrounded by the rugged beauty of the rockies, the ranch has long been a place where hard work, tradition, and deep respect for nature is instilled.

Before his untimely passing in 2002, Dan was the ultimate outdoorsman who was no stranger to God’s country. Simply put, nature was his peace. He took great pride in building his ranch in a likeness that reflected his values of family, integrity, and grit. Elk Run Ranch is more than just property—it is Dan’s legacy.

Today, Dan’s wife and children carry on that legacy and continue to honor his vision. The ranch’s agriculture and hunting programs have been family ran and maintained for over 20 years.
